Privacy Policy

Effective Date: October 2024

At Majengo Systems, we are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your data. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and handle your information when you use Nexus, our local-first API security testing tool.

1. Local-First Architecture

Nexus is designed to run entirely on your local machine. We do not upload, process, or store your source code, API keys, or application data on our servers. All vulnerability scans and code analysis are performed locally.

2. Information We Collect

When you purchase or subscribe to Nexus via our merchant of record, Lemon Squeezy, we receive basic account information such as your email address and subscription status. We do not receive or store your full payment details.

3. Telemetry and Usage Data

To improve Nexus, we may collect anonymous, aggregated crash reports and basic usage telemetry (such as the number of scans run). You can opt out of this telemetry at any time via the Settings menu in the Nexus desktop application.

4. Third-Party Services

If you choose to use our optional Cloud AI features, specific metadata (excluding source code and secrets) may be sent to our AI providers (such as OpenAI or Anthropic) solely for the purpose of generating fixes. This is strictly opt-in.

5. Contact Us
